Disney Cruise Tips

I have SO many tips and tricks to give you guys if you are heading to the parks or Disney Cruise Line and all their experience. Today, I want to tell you all about Disney Cruise Line, because I haven’t posted much about this. I probably will have another part to this, because there is SO much you need to know!

Bring a Sweatshirt: The nightly shows are incredible, and you need to make sure that you see the special show based on your ship. But, the theatres can get cold, so you want to make sure that you grab your jacket and bring it to dinner, so you get to the show on time!

Join Fish Extenders: I can tell you, from personal experience, this is one of the best parts of Disney Cruising! You need to join the Fish Extender group on Facebook, and you will be assigned to a group of around 5 families, and you need to get some small, cheap items for the other families. I will do a post on this eventually.

You Server Remembers What You Like: Your server at dinner will always remember what you like, for example, my sisters asked for a bowl of cherries and received a bowl each night.

Do Your Research: You need to make sure that you know what to expect when you book your cruise. I will answer any questions you have, and make sure to look at Disney Cruise’s website to get all the information.

Get Tons Of Bottled Water: You are going to want to either bring a water bottle to refill on the top deck, or order water bottles from Room Service. Just make sure you hydrate yourself so you get to enjoy your whole cruise.

Don’t Bother to do Laundry: Do you really want to do something that you’re trying to escape by going on vacation? There are laundry rooms available on the ship, but only use them if you really need to.

Leave Room for Souvenirs: You’re going to want to save some room for the Fish Extenders and other cool surprises that you pick up at ports and on the shops on the ship.

Record Your Boarding: When you first arrive on the ship, you will be announced onto the ship. We actually met someone who lived near us, and she announced us, which was pretty cool. Your Cruise Line (I don’t know what their called, Cast Members? Lets just call them Cast Members) will announce your family for the whole Atrium to hear!

Arrive Early for Boarding: The boarding process is pretty exhausting, you need to make sure you get there early, so you can be the first for your group. Make sure you dress right for the weather because you will be standing in the sun for ever!

You Don’t Need To Bring Beach Towels: Disney Cruises provide all the towels you need, so you don’t even have to bring any! Just grab some when you go on your excursions. You don’t need to pay for them or anything, so don’t worry.

Pre-Book Disney Princess Meet and Greets: You will be able to meet all the Fab 5 characters, but the princess meet and greets, with Ariel, Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, and more is an extra ticketed event that you would have to book before the cruise. There is also a Frozen meet and greet with Anna and Elsa.
