There is a secret place in Disney people don't often know about. Disney's BoardWalk is a smaller but super cool place to shop, eat, or have fun.
Experience the timeless charm of Disney’s BoardWalk, a quarter-mile promenade of exquisite dining, unique shops and exciting nightlife. Stroll along the water’s edge, play afternoon midway games and discover evening street performers. Evoking turn-of-the-century boardwalks in such coastal cities as Coney Island and Atlantic City, Disney’s BoardWalk is a short stroll to Epcot and a breezy boat ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, is what Disney's official website describes this amazing area. Yes, Disney Springs is larger, but the BoardWalk is still fun.

When we stayed at the Swan Resort, we had direct access to the Boardwalk. Let me show you,

The Boardwalk is connected by 2 walkways, from the Swan side, and the Dolphin side. It was actually really convenient. Across the BoardWalk is the Yacht and Beach Club resorts, and there are the Disney Vacation Club Villas. I will tell you about the convenience of the Swan and Dolphin resorts in a different post.
How did I know that many people don't often know about this area? Well, the boardwalk itself was always pretty clear of people. Which surprised me, because of an amazing environment it was. At night, it was amazing! There was a movie by the bus entrance, live entertainment, bars, and fun Midway games. There were 2 bakeries and they had amazing Disney delicacies like Rice Krispie treats, fidge, cookies, cupcakes, and other amazing pastries! There was shopping, bars, dance club, piano-dueling club, and tasty food.
Businesses at the Boardwalk:
Restaurants and Entertainment: Belle Vous Lounge, ESPN Club, BoardWalk Bakery, Seashore Sweets, Boardwalk Joe's Marvelous Margaritas, Flying Fish Cafe, Big River Grille & Brewing Works, Jellyrolls, Atlantic Dance Hall, and Leaping Horse Libations
Shopping: Dundy's Sundries, Wyland Galleries, Screen Door General Store, Disney's Character Carnival, Thimbles and Threads
Rectreation: Luna Park Pool, Luna Park Crazy Area, Side Show Games Arcade, Muscles and Bustles Health Club, Community Hall, Campfire, Yard Arcade
I am not too sure exactly, but the only ways to get to this incredible hangout is taking a bus to the Swan and Dolphin from any park except Epcot and Hollywood Studios. From those 2, take the boat. From Disney Springs, we took the bus back to our resort, the Swan and Dolphin, and it took us the BoardWalk before taking us to our hotel. But the crowds were minimal, and the atmosphere was amazing! You won't regret it.
