Disney's Bus Transportation

📷

Disney bus transportation is the only transportation system that goes to all the resorts and parks. I'm not saying that it is the best transportation, but it can help you. I will tell you everything you need to know about the Disney buses.

What are the Disney Buses?: The Disney World buses are free transportation that take guests from their Disney Resort hotel to the Disney Parks. The buses have service to Disney's Magic Kingdom (Have a Magical Day!), Epcot (Welcome World Travelers!), Disney's Hollywood Studios (Hello Hollywood!), Disney's Animal Kingdom (Welcome Explorers!), Disney Springs (Hello from the Springs!), and every Disney-owned resort. Each bus is air-conditioned, and has wheelchair access. Each bus takes about 10-20 minutes to arrive at each resort to take guests to the respective park.

Here is the information from the Disney World website: Relax and enjoy the ride with complimentary, air-conditioned bus service throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

My Opinion: The most recent time I went to Disney was in January, and I stayed at the Swan and Dolphin Resort. This resort is amazing, and I definitely recommend it! I will give some examples when the buses were great, and when they weren't. When we were going anywhere, really, we had to wait up to about 20 minutes in the morning. We also had to worry about the stroller, and we had enough time to fold it and such. What was inconvenient, was the fact that we had to fold the stroller. We had to bring a bag with us to put all the items from the stroller storage into, so the stroller could fold. On our last day at Magic Kingdom. we had to get to Disney Springs for dinner. We went to the Swan bus station and, it was late and getting dark and cold. We has to wait almost 30 minutes for our bus. They tend to slow down at night. I do love the buses, they are a portal to magic.

My Experience: I really enjoyed the buses. We had to use them when going to Magic and Animal Kingdom, as well as our one time at Disney Springs. It is nostalgic to ride one. They never change, so riding a bus reminded me of when I was just 6, in 2012. The music that the bus plays in the background just puts you at ease, and makes you excited for the day to come. It isn't the most comfy bus, but is is Disney.
