I was able to see this movie, and it was not a bad movie!
No Spoil Summary: Basically, Anna and Elsa start the movie with singing, and it just seems like a normal day for them, until Elsa starts hearing an odd voice singing in her ear. The major part of the story starts when they (as in Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff, and Sven) all go to an enchanted forest, and that starts the large parts of the story.
SPOILER SUMMARY: The story starts with Anna and Elsa, as children, and their father and mother tell them a story about an ancient, magical forest. The movie cuts to Anna and Elsa having a normal day, because they sing about it, and Elsa starts hearing this voice. Elsa decides after a game of charades, she will wake the spirits of the forest she was told about, and she sings again. The next night, there is a feast, and the spirits start acting up. Elements around town cause an evacuation. The crew decide they will find the forest, and they are able to go in, despite the fog holding everyone else out. In the forest, they encounter the people of the story their father had told them years ago. Soon later, the group goes to the camp of the people of the forest, and Elsa starts to set off for the river I don't know the name of. But Anna and Olaf find her, and they discover the boat their parents died on. They find out their parents were trying to find the source of Elsa's magic, and Elsa starts her journey to the river. But, according to a legend of the forest, along with the 4 spirits of Water, Air, Earth, and Fire, there was a 5th spirit, of them all, or something. Elsa finds that SHE is the 5th spirit, and her mother saved her father, and was part of the forest. Elsa dies, Olaf dies, Anna destroys a dam that her grandfather built, and Elsa comes back to life, and saves Arendelle from flooding. Anna becomes Queen, and Elsa stays in the forest.
Rants: WHY DOES ELSA GET TO BE THAT ALL POWERFUL BEING? What doesn't rest with me is that Elsa was the important spirit, and Anna has nothing. I wanted Anna to get powers in the movie, to be honest.
OLAF IS ONLY THE BEST CHARACTER OF THAT WHOLE MOVIE!! I loved the scene of the recap Olaf did of the first movie. And the little scene at the end of the credits, that was amazing.
I liked the movie, but loved the original.
